This was started Plein Air, but I took a photo as well, as the light changes so quickly. When I got back to my studio, I looked at my painting start and I looked at the photographs, and I was completely confused. Oh, then my brain kicked in "snow is NOT pink, you dope!" I told my brain to shut up, and painted what I saw.
